Debt in Spirit

If thou dares mock & disgrace,

Steer clear from thine face.

Thy path is written,

and so it tis,

And so shall it be, Maktub indeed.

Thou may outrun the law of man,

but not the law of spirit.

Debt is not paid in coin, nor in court,

but unrest, in returning cycles, in heaviness that follows from path to path until settled.

To mock, to disgrace, to trespass knowingly,

To borrow against thine own light.

Debt written in spirit must be repaid in full.

That too, Maktub.

The chain is broken, the path lit.

What was bound, released,

what is written remains.

From mockery to debt, from debt unto dawn,

So it tis, so it shall be.
