How Sweet it is

O how sweet you smell,

how sweet you taste.

How sweet it is to lie next to you

face to face.

How sweet it is for our

arms, legs, hands to entwine,

becoming one.

How sweet it is

to gaze into your eyes

to see the very depths of

your soul and mine.

How sweet it is to finally

see the infinite within

our beating hearts

beating swiftly,

like a beating drum.

How sweet it is

to finally know thee,

to finally find you,

even if in my dreams.

How sweet it is

to have the thought that

one day our dreams will merge

into reality.

How sweet, yes indeed,

How sweet it is...
